Our Story
GovCon Writers was founded in 2025 by a team of seasoned federal contracting professionals who saw a gap in the market, capable small businesses losing government contracts not because they lacked expertise, but because they lacked the right proposal and compliance support.
Our team brings together specialists in proposal writing, SAM registration, set-aside certifications, capture management, and SLED contracting. Each team member carries 4+ years of hands-on federal contracting experience and together we’ve supported clients in winning some of the most competitive contract vehicles in the federal marketplace, including NASA SEWP VI, OASIS, POLARIS, and SEAPORT.
In our first year, we’ve written 11 proposals with a 27% win rate above the industry average of 20-30%. We’re proud of what we’ve built and even prouder of the small businesses we’ve helped compete and win.
